Based on comments on my first attempt at a book trailer for my fantasy novel, Lady, Thy Name Is Trouble, I did some more Photoshop work, swapped out a couple of photos, and added text to the pics that had none.
Is this an improvement? Or should I just leave it the way it was? If you have time to watch both, please let me know what you think in the comments.
Here’s a link to the first one: https://lorilmaclaughlin.com/2014/10/28/book-trailer/
Thank you!

Lori – I like the second one better; I think more text is a good idea because otherwise the pictures might not change quickly enough for viewers. The text holds the viewer.
I was able to access the first trailer from my WordPress reader, but when I click on your 2nd trailer I get a message that I have to go to YouTube. I was able to find it at YouTube through your name, but I’m not sure whether that lack of access in WordPress is my computer or you need to put up a hyperlink for Trailer #2.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry you had to go to YouTube. I think I fixed that problem so it should play from the blog post.

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. I happened to watch your 1st trailer yesterday and like this one much better. (Tara needed to be added 🙂 Really like the music, too. All the best!

Hi Lori, I love the changes. 🙂 Looking fantastic. I did notice one other thing on this second round…it feels like there are too many words in “and fend off an evil…trap” and that it might work better to tighten it up a bit. (I’m being really finicky now – I really love this trailer!)

Thanks, Sue! That’s great! I appreciate your comments. I’ll go back and look at that. I have a hard time not writing in sentences. 🙂

I have that problem, too. I’ve had to work at it, so I think I notice it more now. 🙂
