Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here.
It’s been a snowy week up here in Vermont, thanks to a coastal storm that doesn’t seem to want to go away. I guess the good thing about it is that we should now have a white Christmas! This week I’d like to celebrate:
- Snow days! My kids enjoyed their day off from school because of the storm, and we have two odd-looking snowmen on our lawn to show for it.
- I received paper samples in the mail from Ingram/Spark who will be handling the printing and distribution of my book. Very exciting!
- I’m just about done with my Christmas shopping! Yay!
What other celebrations are going on out there?

Yay for snow days and snowmen! I’m not too old to remember how much fun those were. Getting paper samples just makes it all that more real, huh? Exciting! Have a great weekend! 🙂

Making snowmen was always fun, though mine never came out quite the way they were supposed to. Hope you have a great weekend as well!

Glad you didn’t lose power like some Vermonters.
We have been running around in unseasonable shorts and I’m loving the warm sunshine, but it’s all changing tomorrow at the stroke of midnight (according to super-duper weather Doppler and our local weather woman!)

We were lucky we didn’t lose power. So many people are still without it. Shorts… wow. I could go for some shorts weather right about now. Hope your weather change isn’t too drastic.

I didn’t mind a few days of lousy weather as long as I have power and don’t have to drive. Now that I’ve written that, I guess I’m actually a fair weather person!!

We’ve been hit with the snow here, too, and my son was super excited. I was just glad I have a job where I can work from home during these days. 🙂 That’s great to receive something tangible for your book! Oh, and my course is done – yay! Now I can do the rest of my neglected Christmas shopping!

Congrats on finishing your course! As interesting as it was, I’m sure it must be a relief to have it done so you can focus on the holiday. I can’t believe it’s less than two weeks away.
