Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit and now hosted by Lexa Cain to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here.
Summer weather is definitely here, even if the calendar says it’s still spring. Whichever it is, I’m just happy it’s warm and not snowing. Celebrations for this week:
- My daughter was presented with a certificate for being chosen Student of the Month for May!
- My Mom’s birthday get-together is this weekend!
- School is almost out! I think I’m as ready for it to be done as my kids are.
What other celebrations are going on out there?

Doesn’t the sunshine make you feel better? We have enjoyed some sunny days this week and hope it continues. Hope you enjoy your mother’s birthday celebrations and well done to your daughter on her achievement this month.
Happy weekend.

Those are three terrific things to celebrate! I’m celebrating the meteoroloigist’s promise that next week will bring two days if sun and heat before another bout of rain 😀

It’s raining here, but I got a lot of revisions done this morning, so I’m happy for that. Also we recently received the good news that our youngest daughter is due to have twins in November. Yippee!!! I can’t wait.

Ooh, twins — how exciting! Grandkids galore! Rainy days are good for writing. At least then I don’t feel guilty that I’m not outside catching up on all the neglected yard work. 🙂
