Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit and now hosted by Lexa Cain to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here.
This week has been just beautiful, sunny and cool, the way I like it. Fall is finally here, and I have lots of things to celebrate:
- Fun at Vermont Comic Con this past weekend! You can read all about it HERE. (And see the photo of Groot!)
- A great opportunity presented to me at the Milton Farmer’s Market yesterday evening! I sold 5 more books and was invited to do a guest interview on LCATV, the local cable access channel. Whoo hoo!
- Making progress on my final edits!
- The Burlington Book Festival coming up on Saturday! I’ll be helping out at the League of VT Writers table and maybe selling more books!
- A day to sleep in! My kids didn’t have school on Wednesday, so we all slept late to make up for having to get up early both weekend days for Comic Con.
What other celebrations are going on out there?

It’s wonderful that all your networking and going to different events is really paying off. And also great that your family is supportive and goes with you. Have a terrific TV interview!! 🙂

Thanks so much, Lexa! This one’s a lot longer than the other one I did, so I’m already a bit nervous. We’ll see how it goes.

I love your gratitude posts, Lori. Not only does it reveal the depth and breadth of your ability to enjoy every square inch of life, but you have such a lovely way of reminding others to do so too.

Great that your publicity is doing so well. I am celebrating booking another holiday so that I will never run out of things to write on my travel blog. And I’ve been in a film and on radio this week so I’m a media star too!

Sounds like fun! I always thought it would be interesting to go through the Bermuda Triangle, but I don’t know if I would quite dare to do it.

Don’t you love farmer’s markets? In Southeast Asia, lo these many years ago, we always called them Morning Markets. I still do and people always correct me.
Great to be at a Book Festival. Enjoy. Such fun.

Morning Markets — I like the sound of that, though it wouldn’t work for the one here, which ran late afternoon to early evening. It was a lot of fun!

My book went to the proofreader this week. A step closer to the release date and I’m not freaking out. Bravery is in the eye of the beholder. 🙂
