Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit and now hosted by Lexa Cain to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here.
What a lovely day it is here today — lots of sunshine and blue sky. This week I’m celebrating:
- Report cards with straight A’s! I’m so proud of my kids!
- Thanksgiving Vacation! My kids have been counting down the days.
- I sold seven more books at a craft show last Saturday!
- Hoping for more book sales this weekend at the Milton Artists’ Guild fundraiser at Barnes & Noble! B & N ordered more of my books to have on hand, so I’m hoping for a strong showing to convince them to keep stocking my book. Wish me luck!
What other celebrations are going on out there?

Good for your kids!
Hope you sell all the books so they have to order even more.

Seven more books is awesome! It may not seem to be that much to you, but there are those that can’t sell 7 a year, much less in a month. Keep up the energy and good work! Congrats to your smart kids! 🙂

Lots of congratulations again Lori! It’s very hard to get recognized by Barnes & Noble, I think and you’re doing very well with sales! I can imagine how proud you are of your children. That’s a huge honor! Good for them! Happy weekend.

Looks like slow and steady is the way to go. I’m going to remember that. As for being grateful, everything seems brighter and better. 😉
