Celebrate the Small Things!

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit and now hosted by Lexa Cain to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here.

This week hasn’t been the greatest, what with my son being sick with a bad cold for most of the week, with the issues I had with piracy, and with the fact that it’s snowing again as I’m writing this. Still, there are some good things to celebrate:

  1. It’s Friday! Enough said.
  2. Spring will eventually get here. I just have to have a little more patience.
  3. Now that my edits are done, I’m starting to get caught up with some other things that were piling up.
  4. Next Tuesday, April 12th, is free cone day at Ben & Jerry’s! Free ice cream! And not just any ice cream — Ben & Jerry’s. Yum!!

  4. Congratulations on getting your edits done!

    The weather over here is opposite of yours I think. Here in California, we didn’t have much of a winter. We had 80-90 degree weather which I wasn’t happy about. Today it is finally raining albeit off and on! It is supposed to rain for three days, but I’ll have to see it to believe it since I can’t remember the last time it actually rained for that many days consecutively.

    Ben & Jerry’s ice cream sounds good! I wish we had one closer to us.

  7. Lori, Free ice cream! Ben and Jerry’s! Yum, now that’s reason to celebrate. Count me in! I’m celebrating keeping up with the A2Z challenge. Even though I’ve had my post scheduled it has been tricky keeping up with visits/return visits and commenting on the comments, but I”m doing it. I have nearly another week of postings completed and if I can stay ahead of the game then it’ll make thing a lot easier, but if I slack off for a second then the noose will tighten around this goose’s neck…oh this Cathy’s neck.   8. Well done on completing your edits. I love those moments too. Free ice cream… and Ben and Jerry’s… So jealous. I love their New York Super Fudge Chunk… drool.

  9. Yay for the editing being done! Sorry your spring is late; summer came early for us this week and we’re suffering 100+ degree heat. Argh! Next week should “cool” down to a mere 85 though. I can’t wait. Seriously. Have a great weekend and eat lots of ice cream! Love Ben & Jerry’s! 🙂
