Celebrate the Small Things! — Another Weekend Edition

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit and now hosted by Lexa Cain to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here. CelebrateSmallThings_Badge

I haven’t been keeping up with blogging very well the past couple of weeks. My focus has been on finishing up the last details necessary for getting Book 2 out. Add in the craziness of life in general and, well, something had to give.

Now that most of that stuff is out of the way, I’m celebrating finally getting my interior print file and e-book file uploaded to IngramSpark! I had already uploaded both cover files. The e-book conversion was a pain, but it’s done. All the files went through Ingram’s processing successfully, and I received the e-proof. Yay! Now all I have to do is go over the proof, and if everything checks out, Book 2 will be good to go! The e-book will be available right away. The print version will be out a week or so later because I want to order a print proof to make sure it looks good before releasing it. Can’t wait to see it! 🙂

What other celebrations are going on out there?

  1. Lori, how exciting! I’m thinking more and more about a couple of children’s books I started, but haven’t finished. I hope to get going on those again and I may even try to do my own illustrations this time. That may be a tall order for me, but I thought why not? It sure would speed the process and be a fun learning experience. This year is an awakening of sorts. I feel different tugs to try some new things and hope to put action to these goals soon. Don’t worry about Blogosphere. It’ll take care of itself and those who follow you understand. Thanks for popping in, if you want you can check out my weekly CTST post here! Have a good weekend!
