Celebrate The Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here.
Another busy week has flown by. Where does the time go? I’d like to celebrate —
- Finally managing to carve out some writing time by getting up earlier.
- Fun times with good friends!
- Swimming at Sand Bar beach on Lake Champlain.
What other celebrations are going on out there?
That swimming sounds fabulous.

It felt so good — a great way to cool off on a hot, humid day.

That must have been fun. My son’s birthday is coming up next week. He’s turning 13. Both my kids will be teenagers. That’s just mind-boggling to me.

Good to hear you managed to find some writing time, even if it’s at the expense of sleep. LOL. The lake outing sounds wonderful! Have a great weekend!

Yay for more writing time, fun with friends, and swimming! I keep telling myself to get up earlier and write…but my lazy body just rolls over and goes back to sleep. *sigh* Have a lovely weekend!

That’s what mine wants to do, too. But if I go to bed earlier, I can get up earlier. Hard to do, but that’s the key. Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well!

Because I’m not a morning person, I say “boo” to waking up earlier 😉 But “yay!” for more writing time 🙂 I guess it’s all just a balancing game. Glad you had a nice time with friends. Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks! The swimming was great. I don’t like getting up earlier, but I like having the extra time so it’s worth it.
