Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here.
I know, it’s Saturday, not Friday, but I didn’t want the week to go by without celebrating a few things:
- I got my Christmas packages all mailed out in time to reach their destinations before the big day (which is why I’m late with this post).
- Baking! I love the way the house smells after baking Christmas goodies!
- Christmas Vacation! My kids are celebrating this big time.
What other celebrations are going on out there?

Merry Christmas, Lori! Enjoy your kids and holidays 😊
Thank you! And the same to you and yours!
Merry Christmas, Lori! We’re all taking a break here and loving it. 🙂
Merry Christmas to you, too, Sue! Yes, breaks are wonderful!

Well done! I myself waited until the very last minute to make my trip to the post office and enjoyed a VERY long line 😛 Props for being on top of the holiday madness!
Thanks! The long lines are what I was hoping to avoid. It does get crazy. Happy Holidays to you!
Those are wonderful things to celebrate! Congrats on getting those pkgs sent out. What a relief, right? I wish you and your family a delightful and cookie-filled Christmas!
Thank you! Yes, it was a relief to get them on their way. Yum — a cookie-filled Christmas. I like that. I hope yours is similarly delicious!
My kids have been off for 2 days and they’re already driving me crazy! Haha! It will probably be better after Christmas is over and we don’t have a million things to do 🙂 Merry Christmas to you!
Ha. My son is doing the “Is it Christmas yet? How about now?” thing. Only three more days. Merry Christmas to you as well!
