Celebrate the Small Things!

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit and now hosted by Lexa Cain to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here. CelebrateSmallThings_Badge

Wow, this month is flying right by. I can’t believe it’s only two weeks until Christmas. My kids have been sick this week, so I’ve been doing more of my Christmas shopping online. I’m happy to say I’ve got a lot of it done now. Celebrations this time around:

  1. My kids are feeling better after a nasty cold/flu/stomach bug thing.
  2. My Christmas shopping is almost done.
  3. Continued mild weather. It’s weird for this time of the year, but I like it.
  4. All four books that I brought to the local Kinney Drug store have sold, so I brought in four more. Yay!

What other celebrations are going on out there?

  1. I’m glad your kids are better and that you’re enjoying unusual mild weather. You sold 4 books!! Woohoo!! That’s the first time I’ve eve heard of someone putting books in a drug store and I’m so excited it’s worked for you. Go you! 🙂

  2. Glad to hear your kiddos are feeling better. I have done all my shopping online so far this season. I even skipped Black Friday. I think I like not hassling with stores, though I don’t know what I’ll do with all the boxes.

    Cheers for the book sales!!

    • Thanks! Ha, ha, yes, I’ll have a lot of boxes to recycle after the holidays, too. I would prefer to shop locally, but I don’t like to deal with the crowds and half the time I can’t find what I’m looking for anyway. Shopping online does have its advantages.
