Celebrate the Small Things!

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly celebration created by VikLit and now hosted by Lexa Cain to celebrate the happenings of the week, however small or large. You can learn all about it and sign up for it here. CelebrateSmallThings_Badge

I went to the independent bookstores that had been carrying Book 1 and asked if they’d consider carrying Book 2. They all said yes! Now I can celebrate having two books on store shelves. Whoo hoo! 🙂 (Photos to come!)

More celebrations —

  1. School is almost out. Summer vacation begins next Tuesday!
  2. My kids and I took a first aid/CPR class. I knew first aid but had always wanted to learn CPR. Important life skills to have.
  3. I sold my first copy of Book 2 at the local Farmer’s Market kick-off event yesterday! Yay!

What other celebrations are going on out there?

  1. Congrats on getting the bookstores to take Book 2! And yay for selling a copy at the fair! Little by little you’ll create word of mouth. CPR is super important so kudos to you for getting your kids to learn it. Have a great weekend!

  2. I love indie book stores!

I learned CPR in my teens. I’m no longer certified, but I could probably remember the basics in an emergency. (My mom was an EMT instructor, so I spent a lot of time as “victim” in her classes too.
