Over the years I’ve “met” thousands of characters in books, movies, and TV. A good number of them didn’t stick in my memory, like people passing in a crowd. We spent time together for a few hours while the story lasted, but once it was done the characters faded into obscurity. But a magical few of them stayed with me, forever etched in my memory. Her non-writing hobbies include astronomy and playing Trivial Pursuit.
