Today is Green Up Day here in Vermont. It’s the day when people all over the state volunteer to go out and pick up trash along the roadsides to keep our state beautiful. We did our part this morning and cleaned up both sides of the short dead end road we live on. It’s sad, the amount of trash that had collected there over the winter. Take care of your own trash, People!!! Put it where it belongs and don’t just throw it out your car window!!!

- We finally have flowers!!
- Spring is here in earnest! The grass is growing, and the trees are budding. I love spring. It’s my favorite time of the year.
- Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms out there in Blogland and everywhere! We’ll be celebrating with my Mom and Dad tomorrow.
